"Chess club update.

The A team - Division 1 - are having a very goood season. We are currently 4th, one place behind Newcastle Dragons the current division 1 champions with a game in hand. If we win our match against Gosforth Empire we will go 3rd but this will be a tough ask as they are very strong and currently leading Division 1. We have played 7, won 2, drawn 4 and lost 1.

Tynemouth B - Division 2 - are 8th with a game in hand on the 7th placed team. If they win this they will go 7th. Division 2 is very tight, 4 teams on 7 points including us and the 3rd placed team are on 8 points. They have played 8 games, won 1, lost 2 and drawn 5!! So a hard team to beat!

Tynemouth C - Division 4 - are 4th and Tynemouth D also Division 4 - are 7th respectivly. Tynemouth C have a game in hand on the third placed team - Forest Hall Pteradacyls - and if they win this they will be just 1 point behind! Tynemouth C have played 8, won 4 and drawn 4. Tynemouth D have played 8, won 2, drawn 1 and lost 5.
